Currently, I am a tenure-track assistant professor in the Department of Mathematical Sciences at the Ulsan National Institute of Science and Technology (UNIST) in Ulsan, South Korea. UNIST is one of the 4 research-focused national universities in South Korea. It is located in Ulsan, which is in the industrial heartland of South Korea. Ulsan is home to the world’s largest shipyard and the world’s largest (by production number) car manufacturing plant, and also has the highest GDP per capita in South Korea.
